Cathy Petch

Cathy Petch is a spoken word artist, playwright, director, lighting designer, workshop facilitator, haiku death master and a musical saw/bugle player with “The Silver Hearts”. Her full length poetry book “Late Night Knife Fights” was published by LyricalMyrical press and she’s also been published by Descant, Toronto Quarterly and other journals and anthologies. She is the current coach of the Toronto Poetry Slam Team, the founder of “Hot Damn It’s A Queer Slam” and a member of “The Dildettes” a comedic queer spoken word group with Regie Cabico and David Bateman.
