Catherine Tammaro is a Toronto based artist and an alumna of OCA(D). Catherine’s multi-media works have been exhibited in both traditional and alternative gallery spaces in Toronto and elsewhere, her written works have been published in various journals such as rabble, The Bulletin and Martha’s Vineyard Times. She has been involved in a wide array of interdisciplinary collaborations; ongoing special projects and themed exhibitions, as originator, curator and exhibitor.
Catherine is Small/Spotted Turtle Clan; Wyandot of Anderdon Nation. She is also of Algonquin, Lenape, French and Italian heritage. She is currently the Communications Officer for the Wyandot of Anderdon Nation and a Tradition Keeper in the community. Born in Toronto and raised in Toronto and the US, Catherine has a forty – five year history of art making, spiritual studies/practice. She is most moved to be asked to offer a ceremony at the FAC
